Imagine a summer where adventure meets purpose, where young minds from diverse backgrounds come together to learn, grow, and inspire change. This is more than just a camp, it is a life-changing experience that empowers future leaders, fosters deep connections, and creates a ripple effect of kindness, solidarity, and impact across communities.

✅ A Global Experience! – Children and youth from diverse backgrounds, cultures, and underserved communities in Houston, France, Guadeloupe, and Los Angeles come together to celebrate unity, shared values, and solidarity.

Who We Serve
This transformational program will bring together approximately 30 underserved young participants (ages 11 to 16), 10 college students and young professionals (ages 18 to 25) from the same underserved communities, and 10 facilitators/coaches from both France, and the United States. Mentors and coaches will guide them to become confident, compassionate leaders.

Our Be Peace - Be Hope Summer Camp with iEducate
Summer Enrichment Camp
Every summer since 2017, the Texan-French Alliance for the arts and iEducate host a free Summer Enrichment Camp at underserved school campuses.
After a successful 2017 partnership, the Texan-French Alliance for the Arts / Be the Peace – Be the Hope teams partnered again in 2018 with iEducate to bring Social & Emotional Learning art workshops to the students. These sessions are led by our BTPBTH experts as well as college & high school volunteers. The goal is to empower children in at-risk environments by developing their creative and life skills and opening their potential so that they can project themselves into a positive future.
The iEducate team is covering instruction in math, physical & life sciences, financial literacy, social studies, and engineering.
The whole program is designed to create an excitement around learning through lessons, activities and experiments led entirely by high-performing college and high school students. Every day’s schedule involves a combination of concept reinforcement and enrichment.
