Professional Development for Teachers

Find out more

Our RISE professional development workshops created by Karine Parker and Irene Greaves cover:

  • 1, 2, or 3-day Social and Emotional professional development workshops that can be tailored to the schools' needs
  • A pre-survey and analysis of the participants’ needs,
  • Virtual binder with tools and handouts for virtual training
  • Be the Peace - Be the Hope Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) Handbook and PowerPoint presentations for classroom workshops
  • A post-survey to gauge impact
  • Community resources and support that will be provided after the end of the training.

Benefits for the School

We believe that collective change starts with individual change. The first step for sustainable and meaningful change in our schools is a shift in our individual mindsets- to truly see beyond limitations and harness the power of our brain, our strengths and anchor our work in our hearts and deepest “why” to be able to move the needle for our students and the entire school community. What we focus on grows. The group will focus on strengths and the social and emotional skills it takes to succeed individually and collectively to address the needs of the school community. The mastermind process combined with our signature interactive activities and practices will allow relationships to be healthier and stronger, teamwork to flourish with an unstoppable mindset, stress to be reduced and made manageable and the entire school community to become more resilient, empowered and successful.
