Houston Independent School District Jean Davis Myers Volunteer Service Award

Our Be the Peace Be the Hope program and our team won the 2020 Houston Independent School District JEAN DAVIS MYERS VOLUNTEER SERVICE AWARD (the most prestigious award) presented annually to a group whose program has had a positive impact on students’ achievement.

HISD selects one organization a year over hundreds of organizations serving the whole HISD, Texas’ largest public school system. For 2020 they chose us! What is profoundly touching and meaningful is that parents and parents’ coordinators nominated us for this award.
